Jason Fillhart is an Environmental Scientist for the West Virginia Water Research Institute. In this role, Mr. Fillhart conducts a variety of technical tasks associated with various projects and programs at WVWRI including field related work and reporting.
Mr. Fillhart attended Theil College in Greenville, PA where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Science and then went onto to pursue two Master’s Degrees; one in Education in Environmental Science and the other in Resource Management.
Mr. Fillhart grew up in Central Pennsylvania in a small farm community located between Punxsutawney and DuBois and has always had a passion for the outdoors. While not in the field collecting water samples, you can probably find Jason hiking with his chocolate lab or fly-fishing somewhere near his family-owned cabin in North Central Pennsylvania.
